

The issue that I expect ArmA 3 to resolve is the overpopulation of DayZ servers in the ArmA browser listing. I didn't say anything about the game being at fault I agree that the game is awesome - these games have obsessed me for the best part of 11 years now. Try to google "arma 2 tactical realism recruiting" Almost every group have their private server, not listed in public lists - ARMA provides such functionality.

I recommend for topic starter to join tactical realism group. That's why DayZ is so popular - it can be played alone or with 1-2 friends. It's possible to play on your own (but it's danger). DayZ doesn't require big coordinated team, optimal team size is 3-5 men. For more fun, you need to find at least 13 more gamers, to play mission as squad of 14 men (3 fireteams + commander + medic). Problem is not in game itself - the game is awesome.
